Forth of July and Burg Nanstein

For the Forth of July, we once again ventured down to Ramstien. Jenn and Ryan let us stay at their house while they where away. We went to Ramstien for the 4th of July celebration.  There was a ton of food and activites for the kids.  We had a good time, but did not make it to the firework show.  The kids got bored (as did we) after a couple of hours. We headed over to a friend's house to hang out and let the kids play.

On Saturday we went to Burg Nanstein near Landstuhl that over looks the city. It was a beautiful old castle that dates back to the 1100s.  Jackson was so excited to see a real castle. He really enjoyed exploring everything.

This sign cracked Ryan and I up.
